Authorities Charge Man in Death of Woman, 4 Year Old Boy
Kevin J. Reid
An Illinois man is charged with murder for the deaths of two cousins who went missing in November 2005.
According to Illinois State Police, warrants were issued Friday against Kevin J. Reid, 51, of State Park Place. He’s charged with the murder of Anquiaette Parker, 19, her unborn child, and her cousin Cermen Toney Jr., 4. Madison County prosecutors charged Reid on Friday with two counts of first-degree murder, one count of intentional homicide of an unborn child and two counts of concealment of a homicidal death.
Reid was taken into custody on March 26. He’s being held in the Madison County jail without bond.
ISP said human remains found Wednesday in a cistern on property near Fairmont Race Park in Collinsville are thought to be those of Parker and Toney Jr.
DNA tests will be done to confirm the identities. The cousins disappeared in November 2005, while Parker was baby-sitting the boy.
