A former assistant U.S. attorney has been arrested in connection with alleged sex crimes.
Eric T. Tolen, 46, has been charged with 18 counts of statutory sodomy in the second degree.
Prosecutors say the incidents involve two teenage boys they say Tolen lured to his Town and Country home over the course of three years.
Tolen was booked and taken to the St. Louis County jail on Wednesday.
He is being held on $200,000 bond.
Tolen has a private practice law firm and is known for representing controversial Overland Mayor Ann Purzner.
He has been under investigation for 10 years.
