Metro-East man charged with murder in deaths of missing cousins

Kevin Reid, 51
Charges have been filed in connection with the 2005 disappearance of two cousins.
According to a Madison County official, the charges were filed on Friday before noon.
Kevin J. Reid, 51, who lived in the 9200 block of Collinsville Road in Madison County, has been charged with murdering Anquiaette Parker, 19, and C.J. Toney, 4.
Reid has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, one count of homicide of an unborn child and two counts of concealment of a homicidal death.
The two cousins disappeared in 2005. Parker was seven-months pregnant at the time of her death.
Parker and Toney’s remains were found Wednesday in a cistern on some property in Madison County.
That property had been in Reid’s family for years, but it was a new owner who was clearing the land that discovered the cistern.
