Spin VA Massacre As Terrorist Attack

Propaganda junkies may milk “Ismail Ax” to say bloodshed was spurred by militant Islam

Neo-Con media cheerleaders for the Bush administration’s war on terror are set to connect killer Cho Seung-Hui with militant Islam as an excuse to propagandize the notion that Monday’s VA Tech Massacre was a terrorist attack.

Reports state that Seung-Hui wrote two words on his arm in red ink before carrying out the bloodbath - “Ismail Ax.”

Explanations as to the meaning of the words vary but according to a Chicago Tribune report, “One popular theory spreading across the web comes from a story in the Koran, the holy book of Islam, about Ibrahim and his son, Ismail. This theory picked up speed because many bloggers wondered if the actions at Virginia Tech could be related to terrorism.”

“In Islam, Ibrahim is known as the father of the prophets and, upset that people in his hometown still worshiped idols and not Allah, he smashed all but one statue in a local temple with an ax. Ibrahim’s son is Ismail, who also became a prophet. Ibrahim is Arabic for Abraham, who plays a significant role in Christianity, Judaism and Islam.”

In what was described as a “disturbing note” left in his dorm room, Seung-Hui outlines his motivation for gunning down 32 victims. In the screed, Seung-Hui rails against “rich kids,” “debauchery” and “deceitful charlatans” on campus. Although the full contents of the note have not been made public, it is understood that the killer also expresses his hatred of Christianity. This would parallel with the explanation that “Ismail Ax” is some kind of loyalty oath to militant Islam.

Though there are other literary possibilities for explaining the meaning behind “Ismail Ax,” expect war propagandists like Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Shaun Hannity to run hard with this angle for the rest of the week and exploit it to make the case that the VA Massacre was a terrorist attack perpetrated by an America-hating militant Muslim.

“It may be that somebody wants to give the impression Cho Seung-Hui was a Muslim,” writes blogger Kurt Nimmo. “Of course, it is possible Cho Seung-Hui converted to Islam after arriving in America in 1992, although there is no mention of this in news reports. In South Korea, the Muslim population stands at an underwhelming 0.2 percent. Is it possible a reclusive and basically non-communicative South Korean student—that is if we can put credence in the story now emerging—discovered this relatively cryptic and obscure Islamic religious reference on his own, maybe at the university library? If so, why was he compelled to pen this on the inside of his arm? Did Cho Seung-Hui want us to believe he was a Muslim?”

“Or did his handlers want us to believe he was but another crazed and psychotic Muslim gunning for innocent young Americans, “rich kids” (as Cho supposedly called them) attending a highly ranked engineering college?”

By connecting the massacre to militant Islam, the fraudulent war on terror can be perpetuated as the Bush administration lines up its aircraft carriers in the Gulf for an imminent strike on Iran. The base level propaganda that “the enemy” is attacking our college kids would give the Neo-Cons all the pretext they need for selling another pre-emptive war to a dumbed down public.

This may not be the false flag we were all fearing, but it certainly puts the population in a semi-comatose state and makes the horrors perpetrated in the name of Empire look insignificant when up against the terror on our doorstep.

  1. What.. another conspriracy theory? Wake up, your scapegoat (Bush) isn’t running again. Want a conspriracy….than find out why his religion has been kept a deep secret for this long. I’m sure it would have been reveled already if he had been a Christian, Hindu, or Buddist

  2. The Meaning of Ismail Ax
For those of you still searching for meaning in this phrase, written in red ink on Cho Seung-Hui’s arm and
also how he signed his infamous note, it starts with the story of Ibrahim’s Ax (Ibrahim = Abraham):

After making sure that nobody was left in town, Ibrahim went towards the temple armed with an ax.
Statues of all shapes and sizes were sitting there adorned with decorations. Plates of food were
offered to them, but the food was untouched. “Well, why don’t you eat? The food is getting cold.”
He said to the statues, joking; then with his ax he destroyed all the statues except one, the
biggest of them. He hung the ax around its neck and left.
    –The Koran

Ismail was Ibrahim’s son. It was Ismail that Ibrahim wanted to sacrifice for Yahweh (with an ax).
(Ismail Ax = Ishmael Ax) - (Father Ibrahim = Father Abraham)
This appears to be a “Muslim sideways take” on the Biblical account of Abraham being willing to sacrifice
his only son Isaac to Yahweh. The ax being a reference to “the tool” used to attempt to kill
Abraham’s son Isaac. The difference being that the names have been switched from Abraham to Ibrahim,
(Ibrahim = Abraham) and from Isaac to Ismail, (Ismail = Ishmael). This switch thus attempts to force
the story to refocus on the outcast son of Abraham, ( Ishmael ) instead of Isaac.
The Ax reference appears to refer to “the tool” which was to be used to either rid the world of evil
or kill Ishmael in the process.
It appears that Cho Seung-Hui’s also chose “tools” to “do god’s will” or kill himself. His chosen tools
were guns, which he used to both rid the world of infidels and then later himself.
“Abraham’s Ax”, was viewed by God as an unselfish act of obedience but “Ismail’s Ax”, was a
cowardly suidice bomber attempt to murder innocent people.
Abraham’s obedience caused God to bless him and also offer mankind forgiveness for his sin within
    the Garden of Eden.
Cho appears to be trying to make some kind of substution play on words in an attempt to say that
his chosen path of being a suicide bomber was taken to try to also help rid the world of evil like
the end results of Abraham’s sacrifice. This is a totally warped prospective but it appears to be
the final death statement of another Muslim extremious and is not that far removed from a
“normal suicide bomber”. Cho just may be the leading edge of a wave of a new kind of suicide bomber
    within America’s borders.

  3. Would someone find out whetherh this boy had a family , relatives or childhood friends? He came from South Korea, what kind of personality did he have and what did his prior teachers feel about him? I am not convinced that there was not something else behind this killing that would not have anything to do with him being a muslem or a suicide killer. Come on someone think. Something is wrong with this story!

  4. He was an outcast of his community. The first person he killed was a girl who probably didn’t want any ties with him. Had he not been a marginalized member of society, in the manner that he was, he wouldn’t have committed these acts. Had he been getting pussy it’s less likely he would have gone through these stages and developed whatever theories he did.

The reality is he was shut out of his potential group (for whatever reasons), and developed a bunch of crazy ideas. The crazy ideas themselves probably aren’t the root of the problem, they just greatly contributed to it. Most people who are outcasts start out as such. So he likely would have been an outcast before he latched onto whatever developed in his head.

If people chose to try and characterize this situation as one of politics or ideals they are basing the starting point of their logic on the somewhat irrational ramblings of this young man. As such, I feel they would be overlooking important aspects of the problem. This began as a humanistic, social and moral problem. Politics and actions entered into it as secondary elements, both for us and for Cho.

The story of Abraham and his son is often talked about in philosophy courses due to it’s complex moral perspective. It is discussed in existentialism courses. It is likely brought up in other courses too. Ethics, general philosophy, or english courses would not be a stretch. He likely heard about it through one of these avenues. It is discussed prominently by 3 different religions.

I apologize for rambling, but my central point is that Cho was obviously a disturbed individual, and so rather than attempt to make a tenuous connection with an abstract philosophical perspective to explain his actions - even if this is what he used as a justification - examining the social, cultural and sociological aspects of this situation may likely be more useful. Perhaps society needs a support net, of sorts, to help or at least catch people with problems before they spiral out of control.

My last statement is that while we dislike them, to say the least, it is probably incorrect and not useful to label people as cowardly. Desperate is probably more accurate. Turning things into a power struggle may exacerbate the problem.

  5. “Long before he snapped, Virginia Tech gunman Cho Seung-Hui was picked on, pushed around and laughed at over his shyness and the strange way he talked when he was a schoolboy in the Washington suburbs, former classmates say.”

What Cho Seung did was wrong but American racists & bullies should pay compensation to Cho Seung family for pushing Cho to the corner.

It looks like the Christian nation is very racist and intollerant of other race. Perhaps they got this from the following bible verses

Exodus 22.20 Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the LORD must be destroyed.

Deuteronomy 13:6-10 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, Let us go and worship other gods (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known,7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other),8 do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone him to death, because he tried to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

Deuteronomy 13:12-16 If you hear it said about one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you to live in 13 that wicked men have arisen among you and have led the people of their town astray, saying, Let us go and worship other gods (gods you have not known), 14 then you must enquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you,15 you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. Destroy it completely, both its people and its livestock. 16 Gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the LORD your God. It is to remain a ruin for ever, never to be rebuilt.

  6. Hitler a Christian Terrorist Killed 6 Million Jews.
Bush a Christian Saint who Killed 600,000 Iraqis
Cho Cheung - Hui a Christian Terrorist who killed 32 innocent people.

Christian Community should apologize to the whole world for the crimes done in the name of religion and in the name of peaceful jesus.

  7. Cho Seung-Hui is a Christian Terrorist

In several clips, Cho directly addresses his victims, saying: “You thought it was one pathetic boy’s life you were extinguishing. Thanks to you, I die like Jesus Christ, to inspire generations of the weak and defenceless people.”

In another chilling close-up, Cho says: “Jesus loves crucifying me. I could have fled, I will no longer run.”

In his writings he was also slandering against the Priest who are child molesters.

Christian priests especially pope should pay compensation for Cho Seung’s family for mentally destabilizing him by the constant molesting of children.

Cho Seung might have been molested by priest as a child.

Christain community should work hard to get rid of child molesting priests and also they should apologize to the whole world for this incident

  8. Cho Seung was Definitely Christian. He talked about Jesus loves crucifying him and he took Jesus name all the time. Americans should learn from their mistakes and ban guns throughout USA and also accept that Cho was a christian and send an apology to the jews, muslims, buddhist and even Koreans because their religion was the reason why Koreans lost one of their sons.
