Tax Evaders Being Sentenced
A New Hampshire couple convicted of tax evasion will be sentenced Tuesday.
Ed and Elaine Brown were convicted of not paying federal income taxes for ten years, and owing more than $600,000 in back taxes.
They have barricaded themselves inside the home, and tell Channel 3 they will not attend Tuesday’s court hearing.
A court ordered seizure of the home will take place when the Brown’s are sentenced today. The couple says they are prepared for an armed standoff.
Police say they have a plan in place.
