Three teenagers are charged with breaking into a St. Charles home and stealing a dozen guns.
The weapons include handguns, rifles and shotguns.
The alleged thieves also swiped ammunition and gift cards worth $2,000.
Police say the suspects are 18-year-old Marquise Crump, 17-year-old Michael Barry and 17-year-old Jeff Johnson, III.
Police Chief Tim Swope says they either sold the guns or traded them for illegal drugs.
